Role: Senior Data Engineer

100% remote role.

12+ Months to 24 Months of contract

Rate: $50/hr C2C max rate.

Interview process; 1 hour Teams interview with 3-4 people off my team then offer.

Need a “leader” type (someone who shows up for meetings on time, no hand holding, 10/10 comm skills, proactive, must be available on short notice for meetings. Must follow thru and not be told what to do.  This team moves FAST!!!!  Needs to keep up!!!

Project description:  We have been Migrating a ton of data so far (migrating data into the enterprise).  Now comes report writing.  Cleanse and organize data in this environment so they can generate reports. Manipulate the data.

Feedback: We are not looking for Architects or Administration. We need Senior Data Warehousing / ETL, integration Consultants with strong Synapse, prefer Synapse migrations.

A data-centric Senior Data Warehousing/ETL Consultant specializes in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, focusing on data integration and transformation processes. They typically have strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, particularly in migrating data to Synapse environments, ensuring efficient data management and analytics capabilities

We need someone for the senior level has extensive Synapse experience.

The primary end client is conglomerate of international  HVAC companies working with standards, processes and support globally (for commercial HVAC, not residential).  This includes equipment sales, technical service, parts and after market, 24/7 rentals.   You will likely work on financial systems, but not limited to the financial environment.

The consultant will also likely work multiple end clients from time to time as resources are needed. Must be flexible in this area.

This is 100% remote, anywhere in the United States (cannot work outside the country, they track IP addresses)

Generic Job description

• Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role
• Data integration tools and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process
• Understanding of M365 / D365 services and integration w/ Power Platform
• Experience with migrating and/or integrating with On-Prem services to cloud and Azure
• Understanding of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL)
• Familiarity with API management and cloud solutions
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
