Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions that support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, Python, SQL, ETL/ELT development, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Data Platforms, with a proven track record of building robust data pipelines and modern data architectures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and optimize data solutions using Databricks, Python, and advanced SQL.
  • Implement and support modern data lakehouse and data warehousing architectures.
  • Build data ingestion frameworks from multiple source systems, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
  • Create and manage batch and near real-time data processing workflows.
  • Design and optimize dimensional models, star schemas, and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
  • Partner with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring data quality, reliability, and availability.
  • Implement data governance, security, and best practices across the data ecosystem.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to automate deployments and optimize platform performance.
