Hiring Mode: 2 Months Contract

Job Description:

Client is seeking Data Center Technicians to support a large-scale data center deployment project in Manassas, VA. The selected candidates will provide Level 1 to lower Level 2 data center support focused on hardware deployments, rack and stack activities, and cabling installations. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience working in data center environments and supporting infrastructure build activities.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, inventory, and stage equipment for deployment
• Rack and install servers and associated hardware
• Perform structured cabling and cable management activities
• Support deployment and installation activities according to documented procedures
• Verify equipment placement and connectivity
• Maintain data center cleanliness and organization standards
• Escalate technical issues to senior technicians or engineering resources when required
• Adhere to all site safety, security, and operational procedures Required Qualifications
• Experience working in a data center, hardware deployment, or IT infrastructure environment
• Basic knowledge of server hardware and rack infrastructure
• Experience performing rack and stack activities
• Understanding of structured cabling practices and cable management
• Ability to follow written procedures and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, move, and install hardware equipment as required Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience supporting data center buildouts or refresh projects
• Familiarity with enterprise server platforms and hardware installations
