MEDITECH Analyst Ambulatory & Physician

Our client is seeking an experienced MEDITECH Analyst - Ambulatory & Physician to support ambulatory, provider, and physician workflows as part of a MEDITECH Expanse 2.2 upgrade and Oncology redesign initiative.
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Remote
The analyst will evaluate current-state physician documentation, order entry, ambulatory workflows, provider productivity tools, and clinical decision support processes. This role will also participate in future-state design, system configuration and optimization, workflow validation, testing, provider training, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and optimize physician, provider, and ambulatory workflows impacted by the MEDITECH Expanse 2.2 upgrade.
• Evaluate physician documentation, order entry, clinical decision support, and provider productivity tools.
• Facilitate and participate in current-state and future-state workflow design sessions.
• Support MEDITECH system configuration, enhancements, and workflow optimization.
• Validate physician and ambulatory workflows to ensure alignment with operational and clinical requirements.
• Participate in unit, integrated, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Support provider training, communication, and go-live readiness initiatives.
• Assist with go-live support, issue resolution, troubleshooting, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, and physician stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of MEDITECH experience, preferably with MEDITECH Expanse and ambulatory/physician workflows.
• Experience with system upgrades, configuration, workflow optimization, testing, and go-live support in a healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of physician/clinical workflows, with excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills; oncology experience is a plus.
