The Role

• Research, write, and edit materials for IT processes, plans, procedures, work instructions, knowledge articles, and various technical publications.
• Obtain technical data through observation, collaboration with technical staff, and review of published materials.
• Interface with users, specialists, analysts, and programmers to gather background information on technologies and standards.
• Revise text and recommend changes to ensure conformance with established standards and organizational requirements.
• Perform final quality assurance checks on all documentation materials.
• Support IT service management and project lifecycle documentation changes.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related discipline, or equivalent specialized experience.
• 6 years of experience in writing and editing documents, with at least 2 years supporting IT operations or IT-related content.
• Proficiency in Office 365 software, including the ability to create/edit Visio workflows.
• Ability to understand technical conversations, ask pertinent questions, and logically structure documentation.
• Experience with ITIL Foundations and project lifecycle methodologies (waterfall/agile) is preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and detail-oriented skills.
