The Role

• Produce complete, detailed drawings using AutoCAD with minimal supervision.
• Create final drawings from marked-up documents, sketches, or written instructions.
• Detail specific product lines, becoming familiar with inspection tools and part measurements for accurate drawings.
• Utilize an electronic document control system for managing drawings.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior CAD operators, reviewing their work.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree in drafting or a related certificate, with 2-4 years of drafting experience, OR at least 4 years of relevant experience without a degree, OR at least 5 years of relevant experience without a certificate.
• Intimate knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and current drafting standards.
• Basic math skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with other drafting packages like Inventor and SolidWorks is desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
