Designer Draftsman II | Arlington, TX, United States | Hybrid

The Role
- Produce complete, detailed drawings using AutoCAD with minimal supervision.
- Create final drawings from marked-up documents, sketches, or written instructions.
- Detail specific product lines, becoming familiar with inspection tools and part measurements for accurate drawings.
- Utilize an electronic document control system for managing drawings.
- Provide guidance and technical support to junior CAD operators, reviewing their work.
What You'll Need
- Associate's degree in drafting or a related certificate, with 2-4 years of drafting experience, OR at least 4 years of relevant experience without a degree, OR at least 5 years of relevant experience without a certificate.
- Intimate knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and current drafting standards.
- Basic math skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with other drafting packages like Inventor and SolidWorks is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
