Group Technical Architect

Hi All,

We have an immediate requirement for a highly experienced Group Technical Architect with strong expertise in Telecom OSS, TIRKS, IBM Mainframe, and large-scale legacy modernization.

• 15+ years of Telecom OSS infrastructure experience, including leadership of large, cross-functional modernization programs.
• Deep technical expertise in TIRKS circuit provisioning lifecycles.
• Strong IBM Mainframe experience with z/OS, JCL, IMS, VSAM, and CICS.
• Hands-on experience with modern architecture, including APIs, Microservices, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Data Modeling, and Enterprise ETL Migration Tools.
• Proven experience leading or architecting at least one large-scale legacy modernization program using tiered disposition models such as Retire, Re-host, Replatform, AI-assisted Refactor, or Replace with COTS.
• Strong understanding of real-time API enablement patterns such as z/OS Connect, CICS Transaction Gateway, and MQ-based Request/Reply.
• Experience with Data Replication / CDC approaches such as Debezium and Db2 is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer / CodeWhisperer, Claude, or equivalent for legacy code comprehension, COBOL/JCL analysis, auto-documentation, test-case generation, and AI-assisted refactoring.
• Ability to define where AI can accelerate delivery and where Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) review and validation are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Network Engineering, or a related field.

• System Transformation: Map and migrate legacy TIRKS mainframe systems to cloud or service-based platforms.
• Interface Deconstruction: Rewire complex integrations between TIRKS and adjacent modules such as SWITCH, FACS, WFA, and SOAC.
• Data Migration: Oversee extraction and validation of critical network inventory, CFA, and trunk line data.
• AI-Assisted Modernization: Establish and govern the use of Gen-AI tooling throughout the modernization lifecycle, including reverse-engineering undocumented logic, generating design and test artifacts, and accelerating code refactoring with appropriate guardrails, review gates, and quality controls.
