Second Shift Help Desk Analyst

Description
We are looking for a Second shift Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide reliable technical support for end users in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and account-related issues while delivering responsive service in a hospitality-driven environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Microsoft Windows systems, handling support requests efficiently, and maintaining a high standard of customer care.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical assistance for desktop, laptop, and basic peripheral issues affecting daily operations. Respond to service desk requests in a timely manner, document actions taken, and follow issues through to resolution. Support user account administration tasks within Active Directory, including access updates and basic account maintenance. Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 10 and related Windows environment issues to restore system functionality quickly. Diagnose common software and connectivity problems by applying structured troubleshooting methods.

Escalate more complex incidents when necessary while ensuring clear communication with users and internal support teams. Install, configure, and maintain standard desktop applications and workstation settings as required. Contribute to service continuity by identifying recurring support issues and sharing practical recommendations for improvement
Requirements
Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a structured work environment. Working knowledge of Active Directory for routine user and access support tasks.

Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft Windows platforms. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and user access issues. Familiarity with managing and updating service desk tickets accurately. Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to technical support. Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
