Join the Team
As a Procurement Manager ICT within eHealth NSW's ICT Procurement team, you will play a key role in delivering strategic procurement outcomes that support NSW Health's digital transformation agenda. Working across complex ICT categories including software, cloud services, telecommunications, infrastructure and ICT professional services, you'll partner with stakeholders across the health system to develop sourcing strategies, lead commercial negotiations, manage supplier relationships and deliver value-for-money outcomes that improve healthcare services across NSW.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end ICT procurement projects, from sourcing strategy through to supplier evaluation and contract negotiations.
  • Partner with stakeholders across NSW Health to deliver commercially sound procurement outcomes aligned to business objectives.
  • Negotiate high-value supplier agreements that balance value for money, performance, innovation and risk management.
  • Analyse technology markets and supplier capabilities to inform procurement strategies and support effective decision-making.
  • Influence procurement and contract management outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen procurement practices, governance and commercial capability across NSW Health.


About You
We're looking for relationship-focused procurement professionals who enjoy solving complex challenges, influencing stakeholders and delivering commercial outcomes that create real value. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strategic mindset and is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for both customers and the organisation.

To be successful in this role, you'll:

  • Bring demonstrated procurement and category management experience within a large and complex environment.
  • Have experience leading procurement projects and commercial negotiations, delivering value-for-money outcomes while effectively managing risk.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and confidently influence, collaborate and provide trusted advice across all levels.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate opportunities, navigate challenges and make informed commercial decisions.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service, accuracy and delivery.
  • Have experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier management and risk management.
  • Hold relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in procurement, commerce, business, law or a related discipline.
