Exchange Engineer

Innova is seeking an Exchange Engineer to design, implement, and support Microsoft Exchange and related messaging solutions for global clients. You will manage on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include migrations to Microsoft 365, troubleshooting complex email and calendaring issues, managing backups and disaster recovery, and automating administration with PowerShell. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate unified communications platforms, document standards, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Exchange and messaging infrastructures
• Manage on-prem, hybrid, and cloud Exchange environments including Microsoft 365
• Plan and execute Exchange migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, resolving issues proactively
• Implement and maintain security, compliance, and retention policies for messaging
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Automate administrative tasks and reporting using Power
• Shell and related tools
• Troubleshoot complex email, calendaring, and connectivity issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate unified communications solutions
• Document architectures, standards, and operational procedures; support continuous improvement
