AML Program Manager - Iselin, NJ/Charlotte, NC

We are seeking an experienced and proactive AML Program Manager with 13+ years of professional experience and strong expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial crime compliance, and program management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a strong understanding of AML processes and regulatory requirements, and proven experience managing resources, budgets, and complex technical deliveries.

The candidate will be responsible for driving AML programs from planning through successful delivery while ensuring alignment between business, compliance, technology, and senior leadership stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

13+ years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in program/project management.

Strong AML / Financial Crime / Compliance domain knowledge.

Proven experience managing large and complex AML transformation or technology programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities.

Experience in resource management, capacity planning, and team leadership.

Experience with financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Strong understanding of technology delivery, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise application delivery.

Ability to work effectively across Business, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Highly proactive, accountable, and delivery-focused mindset.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.

Experience with AML transformation, regulatory remediation, or financial crime technology programs.

Experience with AML platforms and transaction monitoring solutions.

Knowledge of data analytics, data quality, reporting, and regulatory technology.

PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent program/project management certification is preferred.

Experience working with global teams and geographically distributed stakeholders.
