Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience and proven expertise in data engineering within the Azure Cloud environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience working with Azure data engineering technologies, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Databases, Azure Data Fabric, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks. The role will involve working with data engineering solutions, API Gateway Management, database technologies, and Python-based frameworks.

The candidate should have strong SQL skills across RDBMS and NoSQL environments and experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks. Strong experience in ETL/ELT development is required, along with knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices using Git and Jenkins. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively with Azure-based data platforms and contribute to the development and implementation of data engineering solutions.

• Worked as a Data Engineer within an Azure Cloud environment.
• Develop and work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data engineering requirements.
• Work with Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Azure Databases.
• Utilize Azure Data Fabric and Azure Databricks.
• Work with Azure Functions as part of Azure-based solutions.
• Handle API Gateway Management.
• Develop and work with data solutions using strong SQL skills across RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Utilize FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Develop and support ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with CI/CD and DevOps practices using Git and Jenkins.
• Apply data engineering experience within Azure Cloud environments to support technical requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven experience with Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Gen2.
• Experience with Azure Databases.
• Experience with Azure Data Fabric.
• Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with API Gateway Management.
• Strong SQL skills, including RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps, including Git and Jenkins.
• Financial Services domain experience is a plus.
