The Role • Perform system design and new hardware/software implementation. • Maintain Linux, network devices, and Windows endpoints. • Ensure information systems are compliant with DoD standards and coordinate with the Information Assurance team. • Manage privileged access and ensure proper handling of classified materials. • Maintain baseline configurations and support robust virtual and physical environments. • Lead projects within the Area of Responsibility and adopt new technologies, training staff as needed. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of System Administration experience, or equivalent relevant work experience. • Minimum of 4+ years administering Linux operating systems. • Active DoD Top Secret clearance. • DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. • Ability to manage multiple networks in a dynamic environment and familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with security agencies, customers, and management.
