Technical Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Plano, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Client Industry: Banking Client

Duration: 12+ months contract to hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM

Must-Haves:

• 5-6+ years of Tech BA experience


• Experience gathering business requirements and translating to user stories


• Experience working in complex systems with at least 6-7 integrations (JSON or SOAP API)


• Previous experience with an order management application translates well for this: Ex Integration points for ordering, email confirmations, procurement, logistics, fulfilment, etc.


• Think: Online shopping, restaurant food ordering systems


• Data Mapping experience (From a tech requirement writing perspective)


• STEM degree


• Agile

Day To Day:

• This Tech BA will join the Digital platforms Technology group at Bank of America. This team supports the Unified Sales Business (USB) application.


• This application is where small businesses can apply for to open up checking and savings accounts. This person also will support the Merchant Services space as well, which is a complex order processing application with 10+ integration points.


• This BA will be in charge of standard BA responsibilities- meeting with business users, gathering requirements, and writing user stories. They will act as the liaison between the business and tech teams.


• That being said, since this is a complex application, this BA needs to have worked on a platform with at least 7 different integration points previously so they can effectively write requirements for this team.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $50 to $52 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
