Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in client discovery workshops and business process discussions.
• Translate business processes into AI-ready requirements, user stories and decision logic.
• Validate AI agent responses, prompts, knowledge sources and business rules.
• Support Product Owners, Solution Architects and Engineering teams.
• Review demos, UAT and production outputs for business accuracy.
• Identify regulatory, quality and compliance considerations.
• Support client presentations and mentor delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in the respective Life Sciences domain.
• Experience supporting US Pharma/Biotech organizations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work with technology teams.
• Exposure to AI, analytics or digital transformation is preferred.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Life Sciences Functional SME Business Analyst to lead requirements discovery, functional design, and stakeholder alignment for cloud-native solutions built on AWS. The role requires strong domain expertise in Life Sciences along with the ability to translate business needs into technology-ready functional specifications for data, analytics, and AI-driven platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead functional requirement gathering with business, clinical, and operations stakeholders

- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Act as a bridge between Life Sciences domain users and technical delivery teams

- Support solution design for AWS-based data, analytics, and AI platforms

- Define data requirements, business rules, and functional workflows

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning and reviews

- Validate solutions through UAT and ensure business readiness

- Support compliance, traceability, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Experience

- 8 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant

- Strong domain expertise in Life Sciences (Pharma, Clinical, R&D, Supply Chain, or Commercial MENTIONED ABOVE)

- Experience working on cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS

- Understanding of data, analytics, and AI/ML solution lifecycles

- Ability to write clear functional specifications and user stories

- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models and tools like JIRA, Confluence

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
