Cloud Platform Engineer III

• 
  
  Design, implement, and maintain self-service platform capabilities that streamline application delivery, observability, and operational workflows across the organization
  
  


• 
  
  Develop infrastructure and tooling that supports scalable CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployment automation using Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitHub, and ARM templates
  
  


• 
  
  Standardize and automate platform operations including provisioning, configuration management, secrets management, and runtime orchestration
  
  

• 
  
  Engineer comprehensive observability solutions (logging, metrics, traces) using tools such as Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog
  
  


• 
  
  Implement reliability patterns and SRE-inspired practices to improve service performance, availability, and scalability
  
  

• 
  
  Embed secure-by-default practices into platform tooling and pipelines to support DevSecOps principles.
  
  


• 
  
  Ensure that platform components and services adhere to security baselines, compliance standards, and monitoring for potential threats
  
  


• 
  
  Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration in accordance with policies, standards, and procedures
  
  

• 
  
  Collaborate closely with application developers, cloud engineers, data teams, cybersecurity, and product teams to ensure smooth integration of platform services across the SDLC
  
  


• 
  
  Mentor team members and foster a collaborative culture of continuous learning and shared ownership
  
  

• 
  
  Participate in incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems to continuously improve platform resilience
  
  


• 
  
  Contribute to the operational support model, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation as needed
  
  


• 
  
  Serve as an escalation point on platform monitoring, tools, and general cloud infrastructure
  
  

• 
  
  Bachelor's degree in computer science in IT related field
  
  


• 
  
  Five or more professional certifications relevant to cloud, DevOps, or security
  
  


• 
  
  Demonstrated expertise in Azure ecosystem, including identity, networking, and compute services.
  
  


• 
  
  Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and Ansible.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong background in CI/CD systems, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes on Azure), and platform-as-aservice (PaaS) offerings.
  
  


• 
  
  Proficient in observability tooling and practices across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  
  


• 
  
  Solid grasp of cloud security practices and integrating security into infrastructure and application delivery pipelines.
