The Role

• Lead the design and implementation of DevSecOps security practices within CI/CD pipelines for complex defense applications.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate security tools to enhance application security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and penetration testing to proactively mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish secure coding practices, incident response plans, and training.
• Drive automation of security testing and compliance processes using Infrastructure as Code.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.

What You'll Need

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with JAVA.
• DoD 8140 intermediate or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification or higher.
• Strong understanding of software development paradigms, CI/CD, and Agile tools.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and CI/CD pipeline configuration in a DevSecOps environment.
• Proficiency in administering complex Linux and Windows environments, networking protocols, and cloud infrastructures (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and automated provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
