ETL Engineer – Azure
Location: Chicago, IL | Work Mode: 5 days Onsite
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ETL Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Advanced SQL, and database performance tuning. The candidate should be hands-on with large datasets, ETL testing, data validation, and scripting.
Mandatory Skills
  • Advanced SQL with strong OLTP & OLAP database knowledge
  • SQL performance tuning with large datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) Pipelines
  • PowerShell or Unix/Linux scripting
  • Experience with Unit/Integration Testing and Data Validation
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with IT teams
Good to Have
  • Azure DevOps / GitHub / Git
  • CI/CD experience
  • Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle) – strong advantage
  • Azure SQL / SQL Server / Synapse experience
