Sales Assistant – Glasgow (G3 8BW) - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in Glasgow, you’ll be responsible for:  

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
• Driving 3.5t van delivering customer orders.
• Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
• Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
• Completing general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard

This is a Full Time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00am- 17:00pm.

• Proven experience in sales and customer service
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
• A hands-on approach, using initiative when needed to work as part of a small team and support in all areas at the branch
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Full UK Manual Driving licence
