Job Description

Leidos is seeking a Jr. Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams building mission-critical IT and digital modernization solutions for government and commercial clients. In this role, you will serve as a servant leader, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, tracking team commitments, and helping remove impediments so teams can deliver high-quality increments each sprint. You will collaborate with product owners to refine backlogs, apply Agile best practices, and promote transparency through metrics and reporting. Responsibilities

  • Support Agile delivery teams as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering continuous improvement
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Help teams apply Agile and Scrum best practices aligned with Leidos delivery frameworks
  • Collaborate with product owners to refine backlogs, clarify requirements, and prioritize work by business value
  • Track and report sprint metrics to stakeholders, highlighting risks, dependencies, and progress
  • Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and iterative delivery across cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate with technical leads and project managers on dependencies, scope, and release planning
  • Support adoption of Agile tools and workflows for distributed and hybrid teams
  • Contribute to process documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with mission, customer requirements, and compliance standards in government-focused projects
