Reporting Analyst

We are hiring a Reporting Analyst to support business reporting, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making in Dallas, TX. This role will be responsible for developing recurring and ad hoc reports, maintaining dashboards, analyzing business data, and translating complex information into clear and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Excel skills, experience with reporting and visualization tools, and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring and ad hoc business reports.

• Build dashboards and data visualizations to support business performance monitoring.

• Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and business opportunities.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate data.

• Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure reporting accuracy.

• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders.

• Translate business requirements into reporting solutions.

• Monitor data quality and investigate reporting discrepancies.

• Automate recurring reporting processes where appropriate.

• Maintain reporting documentation, definitions, and data sources.

• Present findings and insights to business and management teams.

• Support continuous improvements to reporting processes and standards.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in reporting, business analytics, data analytics, or a related field.

• Strong SQL and Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience developing business reports and dashboards.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Ability to communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.

• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting concepts.

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.

• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or enterprise reporting systems.

• Experience with automated reporting and dashboard development.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
