Data Governance Analyst

Introduction:

International Solutions Group (ISG) is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes across the organization. This role will involve ensuring data quality, compliance, security, and consistency while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Define and maintain data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.
• Establish data quality rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
• Create and manage business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify critical data elements and data lineage.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.
• Conduct data governance assessments and recommend improvements.
• Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
• Facilitate data governance councils and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor data governance KPIs and prepare governance reports.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, and Data Lineage.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy and Compliance regulations.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
• 7+ years (Analyst) of Data Governance experience.
• Experience working with enterprise data management programs.
