The following requirement is open with our client.

Title : Data Analyst

Location : Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Duration : 12 Months

Rate : $48/Hr on W2

Relevant Experience : 8+

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with at least 5+ years of trading-floor experience to act as the primary bridge between our commercial trading desks in Chicago (and Houston) and our global Trading Analytics Technology teams in London and Pune.

· 5+ years of hands-on trading-floor experience in analytics, risk, or front-office technology.

· Background in energy or commodities trading, with understanding of price data, curves, fundamentals, and market analytics.

· Strong working knowledge of EXCEL VBA (essential).

· Practical experience with Excel/VBA, SQL, and large-scale data sets.

· Experience with Power BI.

· Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, and integrating multiple data sources.

· Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced front-office environment with frequent context switching.

· Degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Maths, CS, Finance).

Must-Have Skills:

• Excel VBA

• SQL and Data Analysis

• Power BI

• Energy/Commodities Trading Domain
