Time & Attendance Business AnalystAbout the Role:
JBS is currently recruiting an experienced Business Analyst to join the Group People & Culture team to work on a time and attendance project.
Reporting to the Program Lead - Roster, Time and Attendance, this role will be primarily responsible for managing the requirements gathering process for the implementation of UKG WorkForce Pro.
This role is critical in identifying improvements to how we track and manage capacity within the different businesses and sites. This person will be responsible for analysing timekeeping processes, tracking cost savings opportunities and ensuring that the company's time management practices align with labour laws and company policies.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements to support time and attendance
- Analysing data such as time, budgets, labour results and forecasts
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
- Creating functional specifications for solutions
- Estimating costs and identifying business savings
- Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon for use across different roles in the business
- Assess requirements against solution options and provide calculated feedback on the different options
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand/document business requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Produce reports for audiences ranging from frontline supervisors to C-Suite executives
- Working with the Change Management lead to manage the business impacts.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree or equal experience in IT
- Strong experience with time and attendance systems and processes (Kronos preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of Australian labour laws and regulations
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Proficiency in process mapping and requirements gathering
- Strong writer
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
- Knowledge of agile and user stories.
- Strong ability to coordinate and communicate between multiple stakeholders.
- Documentation skills in developing technical data diagrams, reporting specifications and testing.
