An established Fire & Security specialist with a strong presence across the commercial sector is looking to strengthen its engineering team with experienced Fire Alarm and Security Engineers.
The business delivers a combination of fire alarm, security and life-safety solutions, supporting commercial customers through installation, servicing, maintenance and technical support.
With a strong focus on engineering standards and customer service, this is an opportunity to join a structured operation where engineers are trusted to work independently while having the support of an established technical team.
Role Overview
This role would suit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer, Security Engineer or multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer looking for a stable position covering the North-East area.
You will be responsible for attending predominantly commercial and construction sites to undertake service, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs, ensuring systems remain operational and compliant.
There are also opportunities for installation engineer who would be interested in project work throughout the North East!
Key Responsibilities
- Either Install OR service across Fire Alarm and/or Security systems across commercial and construction sites
- Respond to reactive faults and technical issues
- Complete commissioning and testing where required
- Identify additional works and provide clear technical recommendations
- Complete service reports and relevant documentation (Service Engineers only)
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Work independently across an established local patch
- Participate in the 1 in 6 call-out rota where applicable
A full UK driving licence is required, along with a professional approach to customer-facing engineering work.
