Cloud and DevOps Engineer (Remote, Contract Bench)

Target rate: $60–95/hour · Remote, United States · 1099 contract bench

We need engineers who build and run secure cloud platforms for federal systems: infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and the networks and Microsoft 365 environments around them.

What you'll do

\n

\n
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP (including GovCloud)
\n
• Automate deployments with Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
\n
• Harden systems to federal security baselines and support ATO evidence
\n
• Plan backup, disaster recovery and continuity
\n

Required

\n

\n
• 3+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps
\n
• Terraform or CloudFormation, plus Docker and Kubernetes
\n
• Linux administration and scripting (Bash or Python)
\n

\n\n

Preferred

\n

\n
• AWS, Azure or Kubernetes certifications
\n
• GovCloud, FedRAMP or DoD IL environments
\n
• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID or network administration
\n

How our bench works. This is a bench role: there are no guaranteed hours. When a federal bid fits your background, we name you on it at your agreed rate, and you sign a short commitment before we submit. If we win, you do the work at that rate and those hours. Remote, 1099 hourly; full-time seats may be W-2. U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
