Job Description

We're excited to be recruiting for a proactive Office Administrator to join a brilliant team based on the outskirts of Cambridge.


This is a varied role supporting the smooth running of the business across administration, facilities, HR, social media and general office support.


If you enjoy being busy, are good at forward thinking and have great attention to detail, we'd like to hear from you!


In this evolving role, you'll be covering the following areas:

Administration

  • Managing day-to-day administration, systems and records
  • Handling calls, post, visitors and general office queries
  • Basic HR duties, including maintaining employee records, tracking holidays, sickness and new starter inductions


Facilities

  • Opening and securing the office and maintaining a tidy working environment
  • Managing office supplies, cleaning, maintenance and external contractors
  • Supporting general office organisation, including shredding and archiving


Finance & Employee Support

  • Raising invoices and assisting with general finance administration
  • Credit control


Health & Safety

  • Maintaining Health & Safety records and risk assessments
  • Coordinating required checks, including fire safety, PAT testing and First Aid
  • Inductions and training


Marketing

  • Supporting marketing activity, including social media and advertising

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident managing a varied workload. You'll have good attention to detail, strong IT skills and a professional, friendly approach.


Ideally, you'll have worked in a similar administrative role, however training is available.


You'll have strong IT skills including MS Office along with being confident talking to people over the phone and in person.


Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm & Friday 8am-4:30pm


Salary: Negotiable
