They are seeking a seasoned leader to drive business development and technical strategy for a key Navy client, fostering innovation and growth within a respected organization.

The Role

• Drive business development and lead technical solutioning for engineering, R&D, and development opportunities for a Navy client.
• Develop, socialize, and execute a robust business growth strategy, acting as the primary client contact.
• Cultivate and maintain strong industry and government relationships, particularly within the US Navy.
• Conceptualize and propose innovative technical solutions to address complex client challenges.
• Direct all phases of contract execution, managing cost, schedule, and performance.
• Lead and mentor a large team, overseeing planning, resourcing, hiring, and risk management.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience leading capture activities for government acquisitions.
• 5+ years of technical or engineering experience in the surface maritime domain.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams of 50+ employees performing diverse tasks.
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies for successful growth.
• Proven experience with client and industry relationships across the US Navy.
• Knowledge of DoD government contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
