Investment Banking Senior Analyst / Associate (A2 - Associate 1) - FIG M&A

We are working with a leading Financial Institutions advisory platform seeking to hire a Senior Analyst (Analyst 2-3) or Junior Associate (Associate 0-1) to support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the FIG sector.

Key Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience within Investment Banking, M&A Advisory or Deals Advisory.
• Demonstrable M&A execution experience, including participation in at least one fully executed end-to-end transaction.
• Sector experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Banking
  • Insurance
  • Specialty Finance
  • FinTech
  • Asset Management
  • Wealth Management
• Strong preference for candidates from investment banking or specialist FIG advisory backgrounds, though high-performing Big 4 Lead Advisory / Corporate Finance professionals will also be considered.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of live M&A, strategic advisory and capital raising transactions across the Financial Institutions sector.
• Build and maintain detailed operating models, valuation analyses and transaction materials.
• Conduct financial, commercial and industry analysis to support client engagements.
• Prepare pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations and other marketing materials.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with clients, investors, legal advisers and other transaction participants.
• Manage multiple workstreams across concurrent transactions and business development initiatives.
• Assist in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior Analysts, helping to maintain high-quality execution and delivery standards.
