Microsoft Intune Developer
Contract to Hire
Seattle, WA – Remote

 

Must have Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, GitHub Actions, C#/.NET, Git, CI/CD

 

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience building and maintaining production infrastructure automation or platform-engineering solutions.

• Strong PowerShell development and script troubleshooting experience.

• Strong experience building CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or comparable enterprise pipeline platforms.

• Experience with Git, pull requests, branching strategies, peer reviews, and source-control governance.

• Hands-on experience automating Microsoft Intune or Microsoft 365 services using Microsoft Graph APIs.

• In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Intune configurations, policies, applications, assignments, and administrative controls.

• Strong software development experience with C# and modern .NET, including APIs, services, or shared libraries.

• Experience managing application configurations, credentials, service identities, permissions, and deployment environments.

• Experience implementing automated testing, change validation, deployment, rollback, and production verification processes.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across application code, automation pipelines, cloud services, identity, permissions, and endpoint platforms.

• Ability to translate operational processes into maintainable and governed automation.

 

Required Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Intune endpoint management and automation.

• PowerShell development, scripting, and troubleshooting.

• Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 automation.

• GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline development.

• Git, pull requests, branching strategies, CODEOWNERS, peer review, and source-control governance.

• C# and modern .NET development.

• API, integration service, proxy service, library, and reporting component development.

• Intune configuration-as-code, including export, validation, approval, deployment, drift detection, and rollback.

• Application deployment automation and configuration management.

• Service identities, credentials, permissions, and non-human accounts used by automation pipelines.

• Automated validation, testing, deployment, rollback, and production verification.

• Troubleshooting of API, authentication, pipeline, deployment, cloud, identity, and endpoint-management issues.

• Experience integrating enterprise platforms with Intune, Entra ID, Azure, ServiceNow, Power Automate, and related services.

 

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Microsoft 365 Desired State Configuration (M365DSC).

• Entra ID governance and identity management.

• Azure services and cloud integrations.

• ServiceNow workflows and integrations.

• Power Automate integrations.

• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.

• Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert certification.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Develop and maintain endpoint-management automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph APIs, and Microsoft technologies.

• Engineer and operate Intune configuration-as-code capabilities, including configuration export, validation, approval, deployment, drift detection, and rollback.

• Support Microsoft 365 Desired State Configuration (M365DSC) automation where appropriate.

• Develop, upgrade, and support APIs, libraries, proxy services, reporting components, and integration services using C# and .NET.

• Maintain deployment automation for application code, databases, cloud infrastructure, and configuration.

• Implement automated validation and compilation checks before production changes are approved.

• Establish repository structures, branching practices, CODEOWNERS, peer-review requirements, and release controls.

• Manage service identities, credentials, permissions, and non-human accounts used by automation pipelines.

• Integrate Intune and endpoint-management platforms with Entra ID, Azure, ServiceNow, Power Automate, and other enterprise services.

• Troubleshoot complex pipeline, API, deployment, authentication, and configuration-management failures.

• Instrument services and automation to measure platform health, deployment outcomes, configuration drift, and operational failures.

• Modernize or retire legacy repositories, pipelines, artifacts, cloud resources, and supporting services.

• Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and support cross-training to eliminate single-person dependencies.

• Partner with endpoint, desktop, security, product, and support teams to define configuration ownership and engineering standards.
