Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SDET with strong expertise in test automation, performance testing, observability, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, JMeter, k6, Harness, and modern observability tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and execute UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Develop performance and load-testing scripts using JMeter and k6.
• Analyze application performance, response times, throughput, and scalability.
• Integrate automated testing and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Harness.
• Work with development and DevOps teams to identify and resolve quality and performance issues.
• Leverage observability and monitoring tools to analyze application health, logs, metrics, traces, and performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Build reusable automation components and establish testing best practices.
• Participate in test planning, test strategy, defect management, and release validation.
• Support production validation and troubleshoot issues across distributed/cloud-based applications.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation, or Software Test Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and automated UI testing.
• Strong experience with JMeter and/or k6 for performance and load testing.
• Experience with API testing using REST/HTTP services.
• Hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of observability concepts, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
