IT Operations Project Manager 3

job summary:

The ITSAC Project Manager will:

? Lead end?to?end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for the AL Laptop Refresh Project.

? Manage project schedule, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.

? Coordinate closely with A&L leadership, Service Desk, IT Operations, Enterprise Information Security, and Asset Management teams.

? Oversee daily deployment logistics including device imaging, scheduling of staff appointments, on?site technician assignments, tracking of completion counts, and mitigation of deployment blockers.

? Partner with ITS refresh teams to ensure smooth hardware delivery, readiness, and deployment.

? Ensure all activities align with OAG standards, statewide guidance, and ITSAC contracting requirements.

? Prepare and deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.

? Maintain project documentation including plans, RAID logs, change control, acceptance criteria, and close?out packages.

? Support improvement of refresh processes for follow?on divisions, reflecting lessons learned from the AL rollout.

Minimum Qualifications

? 8+ years of progressive IT project management experience with experience in the following;

? Demonstrated leadership of hardware deployment or enterprise refresh programs.

? Expertise in SDLC, PMBOK, Agile delivery coordination, change management, and enterprise IT operations.

? Proven ability to communicate clearly with executives, technical teams, and end?users.

? Strong organizational, analytical, and problem?solving skills.

? Ability to manage multiple vendors and cross?functional teams.

? Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and standard OAG workflow tools.

Preferred Qualifications

? PMP, CSM, or ITIL certifications.

? Experience with Texas state agencies.

? Prior experience supporting statewide IT.

? Experience organizing logistics for deployments exceeding 800+ devices.
