Job description

  • A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Business Data Analyst

    Position type: Contract (12+ months)
    Location: Charlotte, NC
    Hybrid Onsite (3 days onsite, 2 days remote in a week)

    As a Sr. Business Data Analyst, you will:
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes, capabilities, and workflows.
  • Inventory and rationalize existing STARE functionality and associated business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes, reduce operational complexity, and improve controls.
  • Create business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, metadata inventories, lineage documentation, and data dictionaries.
  • Partner with upstream and downstream application teams to document dependencies and integration requirements.
  • Manage and maintain Jira epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog artifacts.
  • Support data quality, governance, reconciliation, control, and auditability requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, decision tracking, issue resolution, and requirements signoff.
  • Assist with migration, coexistence, and legacy application retirement planning.
  • Support broader CR360 initiatives and legacy application sunset activities as needed.

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience leading requirements gathering and business process analysis initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts including: Data lineage, metadata management, data mapping, data quality & data governance
  • Experience creating: BRDs, functional requirements documents, process flows, and data Mapping Documents
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile delivery methodologies.

    PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
    Pay Range*: Between $74 - $80 per hour
    *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
