Azure Integration Architect (D365 Finance & Operations)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Integration Services and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will architect, design, and implement enterprise integration solutions connecting D365 F&O with internal and third-party applications using Azure-native integration technologies. This role requires strong experience with ERP integrations, API management, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable integration architectures for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Architect enterprise integrations between D365 F&O and systems such as CRM, WMS, TMS, HRIS, banking platforms, EDI, eCommerce, and third-party SaaS applications.
• Build and support integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Event Grid, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Storage.
• Develop REST and SOAP API integrations utilizing OData, Custom Services, Data Management Framework (DMF), Business Events, and Dual Write.
• Design event-driven and message-based integration solutions using Azure messaging services.
• Work closely with functional teams to understand Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse business processes.
• Design secure integration architectures using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth, Managed Identity, and RBAC.
• Create integration standards, reusable components, technical documentation, and governance processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure integration solutions while optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing enterprise integration solutions.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Strong experience with Azure Integration Services, including:
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Azure Event Grid
  • Azure Event Hub
  • Azure Storage Accounts
• Experience with D365 F&O integration technologies:
  • OData
  • Data Management Framework (DMF)
  • Business Events
  • Custom Services
  • Dual Write
  • Electronic Reporting (ER)
  • Recurring Integrations
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, JWT, and API security.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 certifications (AZ-305, AZ-204, MB-500, MB-700) are highly preferred.
