Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Design and develop responsive user interfaces using Java and React based on application and business requirements.
  2. Build, enhance, and maintain UI components supporting application functionality, usability, and performance.
  3. Collaborate with development and project teams to translate requirements into effective UI solutions.
  4. Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of UI components to ensure quality and reliable application performance.

Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

3+ years of experience in UI development, including React-based application development, Java integration, user interface design, and application enhancement.

Technical Skills

Java, React, UI Development, Front-End Development, Responsive Web Design, UI Components, JavaScript, Application Integration, UI Testing, Web Application Development

Business / Domain Skills
  1. Experience supporting public-sector enterprise application environments, including business-critical user interfaces, operational workflows, and program-related systems.
  2. Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
  3. Experience supporting PEMS-related application processes and UI modernization initiatives, including redesigning user-facing functionality to improve business workflows and operational usability.
  4. Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to translate program requirements and user needs into intuitive, maintainable, and business-aligned application interfaces.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

  1. Experience developing modern and responsive enterprise user interfaces using React and Java.
