Senior Project Lead

Lead a small technical team responsible for daily customer issue triage across the Underground Technologies product portfolio
Work with Product Support, Deployment, and Application Specialists to understand and prioritise customer-reported issues
Facilitate technical discussions across teams and stakeholders
Track issues from initial report through analysis, root cause identification, and resolution
Perform detailed analysis of customer and engineering data to identify root causes
Develop data collection and experimentation plans for complex investigations
Apply modern data analysis techniques and AI-assisted tools
Identify product improvement opportunities through customer issue and operational trend analysis
Partner with architects and software engineering teams on corrective actions and long-term product improvements
Support implementation and validation of engineering solutions
Provide technical leadership for cross-functional investigations involving hardware, software, communications, and operational systems
Improve engineering test coverage, data collection methods, troubleshooting processes, and validation approaches
Drive continuous improvement in root cause analysis and product quality processes
Partner with Product Support, Deployment, Software, Systems, Architecture, Integration, and Validation teams
Support global customers and mining operations through data-driven investigations
Align teams, communicate complex findings, and drive resolution of highly complex system-level issues

Requirements

• Previous experience in underground mining and mining technologies
• Technical leadership experience leading teams or complex engineering initiatives
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex systems issues in operational environments
• Experience working across software, systems, integration, and validation disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead investigations involving multiple stakeholders and technical disciplines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to influence technical direction and drive alignment across organisations
• Experience working in global cross-functional teams
• Experience in one or more of: underground mining technologies; data analytics and data science; AI-based tools for data analysis; mining automation and tele-remote systems; positioning and production management systems; people and vehicle tracking technologies; proximity awareness and collision avoidance systems; systems integration and validation
• Must work onsite five days a week
• Visa sponsorship is not available
