In this role you will lead the planning, delivery, and lifecycle management of large-scale infrastructure and network programs across a complex enterprise environment. This role provides technical and program leadership for physical network infrastructure, connectivity solutions, and related projects from planning and design through implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure initiatives involving underground and in-building pathways, conduits, cable routes, equipment rooms, risers, and connectivity infrastructure.
  • Coordinate utility and site assessments, interpret findings, identify conflicts, and work with vendors and contractors to minimize project impacts and operational disruptions.
  • Oversee infrastructure installation, termination, testing, documentation, and implementation activities across multiple technologies and environments.
  • Review testing and validation results, identify issues, and coordinate corrective actions through resolution.
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure records, maps, and documentation using GIS, asset-management, or similar systems.
  • Ensure infrastructure inventory and records are maintained within applicable operational and compliance systems.
  • Support network connectivity services, circuit deployments, service-provider coordination, and redundancy requirements.
  • Manage vendors and contractors while maintaining accountability for project scope, budget, resources, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • Identify infrastructure risks, capacity constraints, and future requirements; develop solutions, project plans, and supporting business cases.
  • Partner with technical teams, operations, and leadership to align projects with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Significant experience managing infrastructure construction, deployment, or engineering projects.
  • Experience overseeing installation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of physical infrastructure and connectivity solutions.
  • Experience reviewing test results, identifying issues, and coordinating remediation activities.
  • Experience with GIS, asset-management, mapping, or comparable infrastructure management platforms.
  • Experience coordinating service providers, vendors, contractors, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling, connectivity infrastructure, equipment-room environments, and best practices for infrastructure design and deployment.
  • Strong project management experience with ownership of budget, scope, schedules, resources, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop solutions, business cases, and project plans.
  • Ability to participate in onsite meetings, site assessments, vendor coordination activities, and project reviews as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards, construction safety practices, and operational risk management.
  • Experience using project management, diagramming, asset-management, and productivity tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure capacity planning, forecasting, and growth strategies.
  • Relevant project management or technical certifications are a plus.
