Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) ERP Consultant to support, implement, configure, enhance, and maintain Oracle E1 ERP solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to understand requirements, deliver effective ERP solutions, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing business operations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, a strong understanding of ERP processes, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate Oracle E1 ERP solutions.
- Configure, customize, implement, and support Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications.
- Participate in ERP implementation, enhancement, upgrade, migration, and support activities.
- Understand existing Oracle E1 configurations, customizations, integrations, and business workflows.
- Perform requirement gathering, functional analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide root-cause analysis and effective resolutions.
- Work closely with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, process documents, and test cases.
- Support integrations and interfaces between Oracle E1 and external applications.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and ERP-related system changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.
- Manage incidents, service requests, change requests, and application enhancements as required.
- Ensure solutions follow established Oracle E1 standards, development practices, and organizational processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Relevant hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) in implementation, configuration, customization, integration, application support, testing, or enhancement activities.
- Strong understanding of ERP concepts and end-to-end business processes.
- Experience working with one or more Oracle E1 functional areas, such as:
- Finance and Accounting.
- Procurement.
- Sales and Distribution.
- Inventory Management.
- Manufacturing.
- Supply Chain Management.
- Fixed Assets.
- Project Management.
- Experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Understanding of Oracle E1 integrations, interfaces, data structures, and business workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and third-party teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
Experience or exposure to the following is preferred, depending on the role:
- Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture and tools.
- JDE Business Functions and Business Services.
- JDE Tables and Data Structures.
- Data Dictionary.
- Processing Options and Versions.
- JDE Orchestrator.
- BI Publisher and reporting.
- SQL and database concepts.
- JDE application development and customization.
- APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
- EnterpriseOne installation, administration, or environment management.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Relevant Oracle or JD Edwards certifications are an advantage.
