We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer – On-Premises BI & Reporting to join our client's team on a remote basis for a 12-month engagement. NCDIT-T is seeking a Technical Specialist - Expert that will function as an On-Premise Business Intelligence Developer / Microsoft Power BI Developer, for both internal (DOT Business Units) and external (public facing, citizen based) Dashboards and Reports. This role will support the DMV's ongoing need for departmental dashboarding, visualization, and reporting.

\n\n

This roles primary focus is to guide business data owners indefining, measuring and analyzing processes to identify improvement andcommunication opportunities. Thiscontractor will understand and incorporate existing design standards into newdashboarding standards for the department.

\n\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

Core Responsibilities

\n\n

- Develop,maintain and manage dashboards and reports in Power BI Desktop and deploy asdirected to Power BI Server.

\n

- CreateData Sources in Power BI Server and manage the certification, update process,and other key data management features.

\n

- DevelopTechnical requirements and solution documents from functional specifications.

\n

- Assistwith training documentation and knowledge transfer to colleagues at NCDIT-T.

\n\n

Required Qualifications:

\n\n

- Data modeling and relationships (6+ years) (Preferred).

\n

- Power Query and ETL (5+ years) (Preferred).

\n

- Complex reporting and Dashboard design (7+ years) (Preferred).

\n

- Workspace Administration and Governance (4+ years).

\n

- Databricks integration (3+ years).

\n

- User access and security management (3+ years).

\n

- M365 automation and integration (3+ years) (Preferred).

\n

- Service Now ticketing (2+ years) (Preferred).

\n

- Analytical thinking (5+ years).

\n

- Role requires at least 7 years’ experience andproven expertise in Power BI dashboarding, visualization, and reporting (Preferred).

\n

- Government experience preferable.

\n\n
