Search Architect

Location: Chicago, IL Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $70.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Search Architect

Key Requirements:

• 12+ years of Enterprise Search experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Lucidworks Fusion.
• Strong expertise in Apache Solr architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Fusion Pipelines, Query Workflows, Collections, and Connectors.
• Strong background in Search Relevance Tuning and Search Analytics.
• Experience in Production Support and Release Management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, ECS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, DocumentDB).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Experience with Semantic Search and Vector Search solutions.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and REST APIs.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
