Operational Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operational Analyst for a position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role will support multiple functions and processes within Lockbox in Payment and Deposit Operations. The position focuses on working with Service and Support teams on procedure development, testing, and script creation. As an analyst, you will develop industry expertise, gain detailed product knowledge, and help drive the execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support
• Write and execute test scripts for operational testing of applications in process improvement projects
• Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications as assigned, which can include mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and/or web-based applications
• Mine data from primary and secondary sources, often using complex joins across multiple datasets
• Play a leadership role in providing ongoing production support within Payment and Deposit Operations applications and processes
• Act as the first line of contact for user-reported inquiries and problems, performing problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and identification of preventative measures
• Deliver high-quality support and great service to internal/external partners and clients
• Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners and translate technical material to business areas

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of ideally 2 years in an operational or support environment
• Attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues
• Ability to facilitate research and resolution of complex issues
• Strong aptitude for technology-based tools and databases (i.e., Excel, Access)

Desired Skills:

• 1-2 years of Operational Analyst experience
• Technically savvy in relation to Windows systems and software
• Experience in Excel and Jira with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivot tables and data graphs/visualization
