Chief Engineer

Hilton Hotels is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and maintenance operations for our property. You will oversee building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and preventive maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and guest-ready environment. This role manages a technical team, coordinates vendors, controls budgets, and drives energy efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with hotel leadership, model Hilton's culture of service and teamwork, and support continuous improvement, development opportunities, and global growth within a world-class hospitality brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel engineering and maintenance operations for all building systems
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
• Manage, schedule, and develop engineering team members in a collaborative environment
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards and Hilton policies
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors and contractors for repairs and projects
• Monitor and control engineering budgets, expenses, and capital improvement plans
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce operating costs
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues to minimize guest impact and downtime
• Partner with hotel leadership to support guest satisfaction and operational goals
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and asset documentation
