Software Engineering Team Lead

ComTec Solutions, a trusted ERP and managed IT services provider since 1995, is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead for our Information Technology (IT) & Digital Solutions department. In this role, you will lead a team of developers building scalable, secure software solutions that support ERP customization, integration, and deployment for our clients. You will oversee the full SDLC, mentor engineers, enforce best practices, and collaborate closely with ERP consultants and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs. Ideal candidates have strong leadership, hands-on development experience, and a passion for teamwork, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers delivering ERP-focused applications and integrations for Com
• Tec Solutions clients.
• Translate client business requirements into scalable technical designs and development plans.
• Collaborate with ERP consultants to customize and extend ERP platforms to meet customer needs.
• Set technical standards, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and security guidelines.
• Plan and prioritize work, manage sprints, and track progress to meet delivery timelines and quality goals.
• Guide the team in troubleshooting complex production and implementation issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Mentor and coach engineers, providing regular feedback and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to estimate effort, manage scope, and communicate status and risks.
• Participate in client meetings and demonstrations, explaining technical decisions in clear business terms.
• Contribute hands-on to design and development of critical features, integrations, and performance optimizations.
