Job Description

Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Münster, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a leading European provider of integrated services for buildings, energy, and communications. This organization plays a crucial role in advancing the energy transition by implementing and modernizing substation projects up to 380kV. They are committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. The Role • Spearhead the commissioning of substations for medium, high, and extra-high voltage systems, including renewable energy connections. • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with expert teams to drive improvements. • Configure and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Utilize advanced testing equipment for the precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology. • Work closely with project management, planning, and assembly teams to ensure successful project execution. • Contribute to critical energy infrastructure projects, actively shaping the future of energy transmission and distribution. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven experience in protection or control technology, with a preference for prior experience in substation commissioning. • Familiarity with common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104) and parameterization/testing software from brands like Siemens, Schneider, and OMICRON. • Strong team player with excellent decision-making and communication skills, including fluent German. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel within Germany (typically Monday to Thursday). • A passion for the energy transition and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
