Job description

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Team Coordinator in our People and Impact team, you’ll play an important role in keeping our leaders and their teams organised, connected and moving forward.

Supporting multiple General Managers and their business units, you’ll provide high-quality administrative, secretarial and coordination support across a varied range of activities. From keeping meetings, papers and presentations on track to coordinating travel, events, reporting and everyday team administration, you’ll be someone people can rely on to make things happen.

You’ll have plenty of variety, opportunities to build relationships across the business and the chance to use your judgement and initiative in a fast-moving environment. If you enjoy bringing order to competing priorities, anticipating what’s needed and helping a team perform at its best, this could be a great next step for you.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Provide professional and confidential administrative and office management support to General Managers and their business units.
  • Coordinate meetings, including preparing and distributing papers, booking rooms and organising catering.
  • Prepare, edit, review and format papers, presentations and other documents to a high professional standard.
  • Coordinate business unit administration across financial, people, payroll, compliance training and management reporting activities.
  • Organise team activities and events, including training, registrations, travel and accommodation.
  • Maintain team documentation, filing systems, databases, registers, lists and organisational charts.
  • Coordinate meetings involving suppliers, contractors, auditors and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting and account reconciliation activities, including corporate cards, invoices and purchases.
  • Provide practical guidance, information and administrative support across broader business unit activities.
  • Provide occasional support and backfill for other Team Coordinators when required.

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You have experience managing sensitive, confidential and time-critical administrative activities.
  • Your planning and organisation skills help you confidently juggle competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • You'll bring sound judgement and the confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You're comfortable using Microsoft Office and SharePoint, or you can quickly learn new systems and technology.
  • You bring resilience, enthusiasm and a professional, solutions-focused approach to your work.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are strong, with excellent attention to detail, grammar and presentation.
  • You'll build positive working relationships and communicate confidently with people at different levels of an organisation.
  • You're experienced in financial services, or you're keen to build your knowledge of the industry.
