The Opportunity

Due to a secure and growing pipeline of work, we are seeking an Experienced/Senior Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure to join our Brisbane Water team.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary water business, you will contribute to the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across Queensland and Australia.

You will work across the full water cycle, supporting the planning, design, and delivery of projects including:

  • Major water and wastewater pipelines
  • Large pumping stations
  • Water, wastewater, and advanced recycling treatment facilities
  • Water-retaining structures and associated infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical design and project outcomes across water infrastructure projects
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation
  • Contribute to proposals, tenders, and business development activities
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations
  • Support the commercial success of projects and the broader team
  • Apply sound project management principles to achieve successful project outcomes
About You

You will be a motivated and collaborative engineer with experience delivering water infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.

You will also demonstrate:

  • 5-10 years' experience in water infrastructure design and delivery
  • RPEQ accreditation (or ability to obtain) highly regarded
  • Experience in technical delivery, project management, and client engagement
  • Design experience across water infrastructure projects, including buried pipelines, pump stations, intakes, and water-retaining structures
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality technical outcomes and developing trusted client relationships
