You will work within the AI domain—encompassing disciplines and job families focused on the research, design, engineering, application, and governance of AI systems. You will collaborate on pioneering projects that harness artificial intelligence, including natural language processing (NLP), reinforcement learning, generative AI, and data-driven solutions to solve complex problems and create significant business value.

Key Responsibilities

·       Solution Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, developers, and internal customers to gather and understand requirements for enterprise AI solutions.

·       Development & Lifecycle Management: Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Utilize agile processes, test-driven development (TDD), domain-driven design, and object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct, and test reusable objects and scalable AI solutions.

·       Platform & Service Maintenance: Maintain, enhance, troubleshoot, and debug existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms; identify and implement resolutions for complex technical issues.

·       Architecture & Growth Alignment: Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure technical decisions align with long-term enterprise growth needs, security standards, and performance goals.

·       Technology Research: Research and implement new AI technologies to continuously enhance current processes and operations.

·       Project Documentation: Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

·       Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or equivalent experience/training.

·       Experience:

o   3–5 years of overall relevant professional experience.

o   2+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments.

o   3+ years of professional design and open-source experience.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or equivalent experience/training.

·       5 years of full SDLC experience.

·       1+ years of prior experience developing and implementing AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).

·       Prior experience designing and building agentic systems.

·       Prior experience in the airline or transportation industry.

Technical Skills & Capabilities

·       AI, LLM & Context Protocols:

o   Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for integrating data sources, tools, and context into LLM workflows.

o   Practical understanding of transformer architectures and modern LLM inner workings.

o   Experience with agentic orchestration using frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangChain/LangGraph, Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI/Anthropic tool-calling patterns, or equivalent internal frameworks.

o   Systematic prompt engineering skills (few-shot learning, chain-of-thought, prompt optimization for foundation models).

o   Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture patterns.

o   Experience with LLM evaluation methodologies (LLM-as-a-judge, automated benchmarking, output regression testing).

o   Post-deployment model maintenance expertise (observability, monitoring, cost optimization, drift detection).

o   Knowledge of responsible AI governance frameworks and controls.

·       Software Engineering & Programming:

o   Strong proficiency in Python; working knowledge of Java or another enterprise language.

o   Expertise in object-oriented design techniques and principles.

o   Experience with RESTful API design and microservices integration patterns (JSON).

·       Cloud & DevOps:

o   Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native development patterns.

o   Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins, ADO Pipelines, or equivalent).

o   Experience working within Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).

·       Additional Tools & Desirables:

o   Knowledge of experimentation/measurement tools (A/B testing, KPI instrumentation, operational analytics).

o   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

o   Nice to Have: Coding engineering, Data Science skills, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
