Position: Senior EDW Data Analyst – Commercial Banking / Deposits & Investments

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EDW Data Analyst with 15+ years of overall experience and a strong background in enterprise data warehousing within the banking and financial-services industry. The ideal candidate must have deep commercial banking domain expertise, particularly with deposits and investment-related data/products.

Key Responsibilities: 

* Lead complex data analysis activities across enterprise banking data platforms.

* Analyze commercial banking data across deposits, investments, accounts, customers, and transactions.

* Define data requirements and translate complex business requirements into technical/data specifications.

* Lead source-to-target mapping, data lineage, profiling, validation, and reconciliation.

* Work with large-scale EDW environments and multiple upstream/downstream systems.

* Perform advanced SQL analysis to investigate complex data and transformation issues.

* Partner with data architects, ETL/data engineering teams, business stakeholders, and reporting teams.

* Identify data quality issues and drive resolution across business and technology teams.

* Support EDW modernization, migration, integration, and regulatory/reporting initiatives.

* Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis and banking-domain requirements.

Required Skills:

* 15+ years of overall IT/data experience.

* Extensive experience as an EDW/Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst.

* Strong commercial banking experience.

* Strong knowledge of deposits and investment products/data.

* Deep understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture and concepts.

* Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.

* Strong experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, profiling, reconciliation, and data quality.

* Strong understanding of ETL/data integration.

* Ability to work with senior business and technology stakeholders.

* Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
