Client Description:
Manpower is recruiting a Back Office Analyst / Officer - Transaction Processing & Management for one of its clients operating in the banking sector in Luxembourg, for a temporary assignment.Job Description:
Your missions:

  • Process financial market transactions, including Repo and Collateral Management operations
  • Manage daily margin calls related to Swap and Repo activities
  • Process Corporate Actions events accurately and within required deadlines
  • Monitor settlement activities and investigate any failed or delayed transactions
  • Perform reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Investigate, escalate and resolve margin call disputes
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external counterparties
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and controls

Candidate Profile:
Your profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment
  • Solid understanding of back-office operations and financial instruments
  • Previous experience in Payments, Reconciliations, Collateral Margin Calls and/or Corporate Actions would be considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging is considered an advantage
  • Experience with collateral management systems such as APEX, Wallstreet or similar tools is a plus
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
  • Additional finance qualifications or postgraduate studies would be an asset
  • Fluent English is required; a good command of French is considered an advantage
  • Flexible regarding working arrangements, including hybrid working and support during specific periods such as bank holidays and year-end activities
