The Role
- Understand complex customer needs and translate them into clear, multi-level requirements.
- Develop advanced system architectures using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.
- Oversee the integration, analysis, and testing of real-time systems involving electronic, mechanical, optical, and software elements.
- Drive technical work package execution, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and project outcomes.
- Provide guidance and coaching to other engineers, fostering team capability and talent development.
- Apply best-practice lifecycle processes and modern approaches like Agile for efficient system evolution.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in requirements management, design analysis, and simulation using MBSE tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, Simulink) and methodologies (e.g., SysML).
- Experience in customer and/or supplier liaison for technical aspects, verifying customer satisfaction.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a Scientific or Engineering subject (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).
- Experience in integration, test, and verification of real-time and/or safety-related systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with safety assessment processes and their influence on design is a plus.
- Ability to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard and potentially higher levels of security vetting.
